SSM Rolls Out Four Key Initiatives to Boost Business Compliance and Ecosystem

KUALA LUMPUR – The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has introduced four new initiatives to enhance corporate compliance and ease the burden on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Announced during SSM’s 23rd anniversary, the measures include a new digital e-advertisement platform for LLPs to publish winding-up notices and significant compound reductions—up to 95%—for dormant companies and late filings. Valid until Sept 30, these offers aim to help non-compliant entities regularise their status. Existing initiatives such as free registration for B40 entrepreneurs and persons with disabilities will also continue to empower inclusive business participation.
