Pay Your Tax Arrears in Instalments: IRB Launches e-Ansuran for Hassle-Free Payments

PUTRAJAYA, March 18 — The e-Ansuran online instalment application service for tax balance or arrears payments has been available via the MyTax Portal since March 5. The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) introduced this initiative to ease taxpayers' applications for instalment payments, granting automatic approval without supporting documents.Eligible taxpayers must apply for amounts exceeding RM 300, with instalments ranging from two to six payments. The service applies only to income tax instalments, excluding ongoing plans. Taxpayers can access e-Ansuran via MyTax, selecting their role. However, cancellations can only be made at the IRB office.
