LHDN has received 107.5 million e-invoices from taxpayers since the system’s implementation on 1 August. Dr. Rasyidah Che Rosli, Director of the e-Invoice Division, described the response as positive, with over 35% of taxpayers adopting e-Invoicing voluntarily. The system requires taxpayers engaged in commercial activities to submit digital invoices containing transaction details, such as product type, quantity, price, and tax information. Phase two, which began on 1 January, targets around 14,000 taxpayers with annual sales between RM25million and RM100million. LHDN offers support, including guidelines, FAQs, and helpdesk services to ease the implementation process.
