KDN Introduces Comprehensive Rehabilitation Plan for Guantanamo Returnees

The MADANI government has introduced a comprehensive integration plan for two Malaysians returned from Guantanamo Bay after 18 years of detention. Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail stated the plan focuses on their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. The program, divided into three phases, emphasizes both individual recovery and social harmony. Continuous monitoring by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will ensure the plan's effectiveness. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens and the MADANI values of second chances and social justice. The two men were transferred from Guantanamo to Malaysia last week for rehabilitation.
