IRB Launches e-PCB Plus to Streamline Monthly Tax Deduction Process

The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has launched a new Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) service, e-PCB Plus, replacing the existing e-PCB, e-Data PCB, and e-CP39 systems under the MyTax portal. Phase 1 of the e-PCB Plus rollout began on September 24, requiring employers to register roles on MyTax and e-PCB Plus. Employers must complete all MTD data submissions and payments for current or past deductions by January 15, 2025. From that date, the existing PCB system will only allow viewing of past records, with full implementation of e-PCB Plus announced before activation. Employers are urged to transition promptly.
