Hun Manet Unveils Strategic Roadmap to Boost Investments and Business Growth

At the Global Chinese Economic & Technology (GCET) Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized policies fostering investment, innovation, and sustainable growth. The summit, rebranded from the World Chinese Economic Summit, highlighted partnerships driving digital transformation, green energy, and entrepreneurship. Hun Manet underscored Cambodia’s openness to investors, offering full foreign ownership and extensive market access through trade agreements like RCEP. With 62% renewable energy and a goal of 70% by 2030, Cambodia prioritizes green growth. The forum addressed ASEAN-China collaboration, digitalization, and the role of overseas Chinese in driving economic growth, concluding with a gala dinner.
