High Court Sets October 15 for TNB's Judicial Review Hearing

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has been directed by the High Court to attend proceedings on October 15 for its judicial review leave application after being issued an additional tax assessment of RM1.39 billion by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).The High Court also granted a temporary stay on the enforcement of the additional assessment notices until the hearing date. TNB disclosed this development in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.On August 19, the utility giant received additional tax assessment notices for the 2020 and 2021 assessment years, amounting to RM685.82 million and RM705.24 million, respectively.
