CIMB and PayNet Launch Malaysia’s First Automatic E-Invoice Payment Terminal

CIMB Bank and PayNet have introduced Malaysia’s first payment terminal with automatic e-invoice capabilities. The terminal is designed to simplify invoice generation and ensure seamless compliance with the Inland Revenue Board’s (LHDN) e-invoicing mandate for businesses, including SMEs. Currently in a pilot phase with selected merchants, a full launch is planned for the second quarter of 2025. The terminal streamlines operations by automatically handling the invoicing process, reducing administrative tasks, and offering features like itemized bills, real-time notifications, and QR codes. This collaboration enhances business efficiency while simplifying compliance with regulatory requirements.
